Egged in Egham

First of all I would like to apologize to everyone for the time between blog posts. That being said I think you all will appreciate the wait.

I had my first official interview today at a little place called Egham. The job was for a Web Developer position at a quaint little place called Royal Holloway, University of London, Egham Surrey. OK enough with the boring stuff, let me tell you the funny shit.

It took me around and hour and a half to commute to Egham, changing trains twice. Once I got to Egham (One stop passed Stains for all you Ali-G fans out there), it was about a mile and a half walk to the Uni campus; all up hill. I was cruising up the hill with my iPod cranked when i felt this 'thing' whistle past my ear, closely followed by something hitting my waist, on the right side. I looked down and to my dismay I realised that I had been egged. The egg that hit my waist hit right where my pocket started, thus covering my iPod, phone and wallet in yolk and egg shells. Needless to say I was pissed off! and in a great frame of mind to start a job interview.

I calmed myself down and did fairly well in the interview. I got a call back from the job agency guy and he let me know that my interviewer liked what I had to say, and my practical 'test' was done really well. This would be a great place to work, minus the massive commute to work. It's a lovely looking place... it looks like its been there for 100+ years, as can be seen from the below photos.

In closing, I am expecting some funny feedback as you can't make up story like this
